October 2025 is set to be a monumental month for gamers, with a packed release schedule promising a diverse array of titles across multiple platforms. From highly anticipated sequels to beloved franchises to entirely new adventures, players will have no shortage of options to dive into. Leading the charge is "Ghost of Yotei," the spiritual successor to "Ghost of Tsushima," slated for release on October 2nd for the PlayStation 5. This new title, set in feudal Japan, will feature a new protagonist on a quest for vengeance, dynamic weather systems, and deep samurai combat.
