By 1:45 p.m., the University of Arkansas Police Department confirmed that there were no confirmed gunshots or injuries related to the reported active shooter situation. The investigation remained active, with authorities continuing to clear buildings and assess the situation.
U.S. Representative Steve Womack, representing Arkansas' 3rd District, expressed concern over the incident, urging residents to follow all safety alerts. He stated that he and his team were closely monitoring the situation.
